frequently asked questions

What is supplied and what do we need to bring?

There  are  initial  supplies  of  toilet  rolls,  washing  up  liquid,  dishwasher  tablets  etc  which  are  usually  ample  for  weekend  groups.  It  doesn’t  do  any  harm  to  bring  more.


Hand  wash  is  in  all  the  bathrooms  as  well  as  shower  gel/shampoo  and  hair  conditioner . 


We  supply  a  bath  towel  per  guest  and  recommend  you  bring  more  if  you  are  using  the  hot  tub


The  kitchen  is  fully  equipped  and  you  have  full  access  to  this  apart  from  during  catering  where  we  politely  ask  you  to  stay  out  the  kitchen  (no-one  likes  people  watching  them  when  they  work!)

What time is check in and check out?

4pm  and  10am. You may be able to add early check in and late checkout. (subject to no other bookings arriving / departing on same day)   

How many car parking spaces do you have?

A maximum of  7.  This  depends  on  how  big  your  cars  are  and  your  skills  at  parking!    You  can park  a  car  by  the  side  of  the  hot  tub  if  you  really  need  an  extra  space.  

How many therapists will be on if we book treatments?

epends  on  numbers  but  typically  there  will  be  2  or  3  on.    We  try  and  get  them  done  as  soon  as  we  can  so  you  can  all  sit  together  to  eat  but  this  cannot  be  guaranteed.  We usually   book  in  treatments  on  Saturday  morning  at  930am  (or  9 if  you  are  a  very  large  group) .  We   may  have  to  split  these  over  2  days  if  you  are  a  large  group  or  therapists  are  on  holiday  etc.


 

What AV equipment do you have?

We  have  a  portable  sound  systems  which  work  with  Bluetooth.    There  is  a  50  inch  TV  in  the  lounge  with  a  PS4 so  you  can  connect  laptops  to  this  or  play  DVDs . 

Do you cater for gluten free and vegans?

Yes  the  caterer  can  do  gluten  free  no  problem  on  request.  Most  of  our  dishes  are  deliberately  chosen  to  be  adapted  for  gluten  free .  

How many hot tubs are included?

One hot tub is included, usually the one in the log cabin,  but we reserve right to vary depending on time of year and maintenance arrangements.  If you wish to add on second outdoor one this is available for additional fee of £250
